I think thanks to people like Joe, Douglas and the whole IDW movement, being called a Leftist today is just about the worst dismissal that can be leveled at you. I don't think that, outside of the Left, anyone likes the Left. Even Liberals have abandoned them.

Just one thing there are a women out there that don’t push out babies and are more interested in concentrating on their career. A lot of women are not maternal and finding their career more interesting and exciting. Also women have been conditioned to think having children is the most wonderful thing ever and dot a lot of women that’s just not the case. Yes it has been ingrained in us to think this way but doesn’t mean in reality women want this. And perhaps we don’t enjoy having this pressure over our heads that this is where are speciality lies and now we have the opportunity to concentrate on other interests other than motherhood.

My only disagreement with you is about the Russia/Novichok allegation. There is major substantiation that this is US/UK propaganda, as is the Russiagate hoax. The rest of the discussion--which I haven't finished--was spot on. (Disclaimer: not a Trump fan or a Libertarian, nor a supporter any longer of the DNC cartel.) Douglas Murray: thank you for standing up for JK Rowling and the exploitation by the trans activists. Great discussion. Left and right are skewed constructs to divide people. There's only truth, not the bullshit chaos that the TPTB are propagating.

@1:22:00 "I don't need the New York Times". That is precisely the problem about this whole issue that is becoming global. It's easy for Mr.Douglas to lecture JRE listeners about always telling the truth, being completely transparent and not caring how the rest of the world percieves you. The working people of this world, simply don't care about the politics and the social justice movement. They want to go to work, pay the bills, love their kids. If some outspoken lunatics are trying to make corporate adjustments regarding stupid policies, you cannot expect everyone to suddenly have a moral backbone. There are monetary consequences. Truth and moral crusaders such as Douglas do themselves a disservice when they loudly proclaim their inability to comprehend the "silent majority". The "silent majority" in America will end up electing Trump again, and nobody will be surprised when it happens. Yuk.

I like Douglas, but some of the things he says are so extremely biased and false: He claims that gender confusion is associated with the end of great empires and civilizations. No, Douglas, for example, the end of the Roman Empire was caused by plague, and social fragmentation - after all, not all Romans wanted to be Christianized. The cult of Cybele where the goddess's male votives would castrate themselves came to Rome hundreds of years before the end of the Empire and it did not weaken the Empire. Effeminate men were never tolerated in Ancient Rome, but only when they took power (E.g. Elagabalus) did they experience persecution. After Christianity became the state religion of Rome - that is when sexual variance was forbidden. After that the Roman Empire fell to pieces. Douglas wants to preserve old British Christian religio-psychosis no matter what truth must be assassinated.

I mean there are obvious major problems with the new authoritarian movement on the left and many of those are brought up in this interview. It is still interesting to see how many of the concerns that are bleeding over into the rest of the American left are frequently completely misrepresented, either out of ignorance or deliberately, such as defunding the police or the concept of "toxic masculinity", which indeed has nothing to do with there "being something wrong with being a man", but has a very clear definition in psychology that makes a lot of sense and should probably be better understood superficially as "a version of what some people associate with being masculine that is toxic to the person adhering to those beliefs". It's a shame that there is so little pushback in these conversations, because it essentially devolves into an argument over a straw man that is being constructed, when a real conversation of the much more nuanced actual positions being held would be so much more interesting and useful.

This guy casually bulks the Left together the same way he hates the Right all being labeled as racist. Thing is, the entire Right actually votes for racists for president over and over for a century. And the ruling Left has become more of a European Right wing corporate party that supports war and big business. So, when did the left ever vote for a person who condoned burning down Starbucks and forcing people to raise their fists in restaurants? Answer never. So basically, this guy is talking out of his ass with unverifiable false generalizations, the like that would have he himself in rage if he actually understood what he was saying and doing. Have a nice day wrapping your brain around that mind fuck of intellectual ineptitude. Sad that so many people are watching this thinking, "Yeah, he's so smart!" Biden wrote the crime bill and y'all think the Left is a bunch of window breakers? Please, just have a think on this.

@Mike Sos That's a typical excuse for being corrupt. You exaggerate. One does not need to throw all caution to the wind, one needs to be critical of other people including one's own family, the company one works for, and the politicians one elects. It's not that hard to both be critical and economically viable. As an incentive, read your history to find out what happens when a critical mass of people don't have enough ethical backbone to stand up for what is right.

Here’s a theory: There are loads of right-wing fifth columnists, state actors, and trolls, who knowing that the general public are becoming angry and disenchanted with the zealotry of the left and their ‘identity’ politics, are online and in these ‘leftist’ groups espousing the doctrine of ‘ everyone is racist, white privilege, transphobia’ etc. I know that the left, liberals and progressives are guilty of this ideology and ‘cancel’ culture . But I also think there are plenty of right-wing actors pretending to be ‘leftist’, calling for the denouncing of people for perceived slights of political correctness, essentially ‘cancelling’ them, to create the atmosphere of fear and anxiety of the man on the street in order to swoop in and say ‘ look! I told you they would come for us white males! They hate us!! Join us, join the group, only we can stop this together!! That is why there is a massive rise in membership of right wing groups. The best recruiting policy of all time is to make everyone fear that they will be denounced as an individual but protected in a group.

Love both of these guys, but when they talk about Portland/Trump/the Left it's incredibly frustrating. They talk about Trump's current country and pretend that Biden supports the craziness in the PNW. Of course he doesn't. Biden wrote the FUCKING CRIME BILL. They seem uneducated in this aspect to think that A. Trump complaining about the Left isn't happening on his watch when it is...in case you forgot it's happening right. now. and B. that Biden would support the fringe lunatics when all evidence shows evidence to the contrary. I'm not a huge Biden fan but I'm also not blind enough to align the nutjob Antifa with the Democrat nominee. Come on guys. You're better than this.

Rogan: 87:23 collective groups of people subjugating themselves to the masses is a failure of our education system... As a former teacher who asked 'What's in it for students?' I had school leaders who told me, 'I worry about you.'. It's easier to 'go along'. After a few years of saying out aloud, 'I disagree but I go along' I felt so diminished that I had to resign. Can anyone envision a time where every McDonald’s is state owned? Where Coca-Cola is run from a bureau in Washington? That all private property is expropriated by the federal government including your iPhone? That your house is repossessed and incorporated into the state? That every farm is collectively owned and every rural farmer is moved to massive state owned farms? That all the churches, Mosques, Synagogues are closed and destroyed, the Bible banned, and the entire populace forced to be atheist? That every person in order to get a job of authority must join the party? And eventually that the dollar will be phased out and the country and all economic activity will be planned centrally? Never going to happen.
