I hope I wasn't the only one to notice this lady bragging about how good she was doing, about how she could bank roll construction in 5 NEW RESTAURANTS out of her own account... Then the next sentence talk about how she knows most of her employees live paycheck to paycheck... How fucked up is that, she complains about how rough things are and knows she is paying bad wages to the people she is pretending to care about.

The vandalism of small businesses makes perfect sense when you understand that these are Marxist riots. They have nothing to do with George Floyd or police reform, these issues have just been hijacked by a generation of Neo-Marxist Communists (albeit incredibly pathetic ones) as an excuse to start their Communist revolution in the USA. They're destroying small businesses because they see them as representing Capitalism. That's what all this is about. This is why BLM, for all their many faults, have started turning on Antifa because they're realizing that Antifa don't actually give a shit about BLM's cause. This is not a sequence of illogical events and irrational behaviour, this shit is organized and these Antifa rioters have been planning this for a while. They've been radicalised by their Marxist college professors and they've just been waiting for the perfect excuse at the right moment - George Floyd in the middle of a nationwide lockdown is it.

Love seeing expressed food passion. Though he's a tad hard on the French considering there the ones that really developed the Italian cuisine. And all the newer methods he's pointing out isn't French, it's the new style interpretation.

Prieš 4 mėnesius

@devon 26 When Catherine de 'Medici married king Henry II of France in 1547, she brought a large entourage with her, including her trusted cooks. On that occasion, French cuisine drew a lot from Italian Renaissance cuisine, including the use of cutlery (spoons have very ancient origins, for sure the Romans also used them, calling them "ligula" or "cochlear"; the fork has more recent origins, in Italy, it had been introduced by the Venetians in their trade with Byzantium). Another of the cornerstones of French cuisine is the text "Le cuisinier" of 1651. Since then the two schools have mutually influenced each other, so much so that they even contend for the authorship of some recipes. My opinion is that French cuisine, for about 400 years, has followed its own path, establishing itself as one of the main cuisines in the world. We must be grateful to French cuisine for the development of techniques in the preparation of dishes and for the organization of the kitchen and dining room. But since then also Italian cuisine has evolved, bringing it to what we know today, according to an uninterrupted process that is that of the formation and evolution of cultures.

Very few JRE's that I can't make it through in one listen (maybe broken up but within a day or so)...this is one of those that is very difficult to listen to entirely, on to the next. I may try and finish it, at some point, but that's doubtful. Did they ever speak about PPP? No hard questions for these two, just a pity party for them and talking about their restaurant empire. Opening 7 restaurants this year alone!! Hilarity. She's acting like she can't afford food for herself. That's cockamamie. Joe, call these people out! Pretty sure, from what little research I've done, she's a multi-millionaire. No pity party for you! PPP only wants back 1% of the loans (some businesses are taking millions, one million brings a debt of $10k(?), if the 1% repayment is true) and because they didn't speak about it while I listened...I'm assuming they took the free money and are doing juuuuuust fine.
