We have 303 “covid” deaths out of 553,000 citizens in my FL county. Nothing to see here. Median age of death for covid is 78. Median age of death is 78 without covid. SAME NUMBER. People die every day, with or without covid, but we are paying attention because of covid.

Joe doesn't seem to understand some people can't push themselves. They can once or twice and they drop it. I envy Joe the gradification he feels after a work out. I wish I'd have that. For me is doing something unpleasent all the way through. Why would I willingly do something I don't want for hours every day?

Man. I am open to your help! I have a congenital spine deformation which means I struggle to sit, stand, walk or drive. I can draw and paint really well and I can walk or cycle once every week or so to location. I have no income and have migrated continent and country twice. I am virtually penniless. I used to be a personal trainer before the defect kicked in. Now I struggle to walk.to tje bathroom. I am starting to teach painting from my bed as I plan my spinal surgery. Www.manreclaimed.com. I have just learned to make the website myself. Nothing fantastic. Hopefully I will find work to write or draw...see the work and thank you if you have any work for me.

i always hate that argument that because your poor you have to eat fast food because its cheaper... lets say you go get a meal at mcdonalds for 5 bucks. For five bucks you can buy a dozen eggs and pound of chicken some veggies and some sort of rice/pasta and feed your self for 3 days. When you poor its not the fact that you cant eat healthy food its the fact you feel as if you dont have control in your like, you cant indulge in the niceties of life that if feels that everyone else can so you go to something comfortable something that provides with a taste of something better.

"Never ask for money, do a good job and money will come". That is the single most untrue statement on a JRE ever. You can be the best janitor on the planet, but there aren't many raises in your future.

Prieš mėn
Patrick T
Patrick T

@Birdwellington Amalgamation I feel you man. As Joe says, I'm a fuckin idiot, I don't know. But I'd ask what you think the solution is? Should everyone make the same amount? Should we have government stipends? On both sides, the argument can be made. I don't know what the answer is. But in my eyes, I want my taxes to go to people who need the money, and not people who know they'll get money. Which is an impossible line to draw. But still. It's fucked. Should janitors make more money? no. Because the higher you raise low-skill jobs, the higher everything else goes. I think we should make a mandatory service happen in the U.S. Like a 1 year with any public service - military, medical, police, etc. I think there should be a last year of high school where you prepare for an ACTUAL job, then just go do a year with that service, then boom. Go to college or figure it out. But you'd have a skill at least? Obviously combat roles would be voluntary. But yeah. Idk man, it's an idea. Idk what the answer is supposed to be

Prieš 9 dienų
Birdwellington Amalgamation
Birdwellington Amalgamation

@Patrick T unfortunately there are more people than jobs. If janitor positions are supposed to be temporary, where will we get a fresh supply of replacement janitors? And what career aspirations should janitors shoot for? Are we really going to say that the majority of jobs available(low skill, low pay) should be stepping stones to better things? If these better opportunities are so plentiful, why take the janitor job in the first place? Being born in a rural area with little opportunity shouldn't negate the need for jobs to pay a livable wage. Not the point of my original comment, but I figured I'd reply to a 2 paragraph reply with one in return. Lol

Prieš 11 dienų
Patrick T
Patrick T

@Birdwellington Amalgamation Well, I was being sarcastic. But since you asked, the attitude that fills a janitors bank account is the attitude that doesn't settle for retiring as a janitor. Unless that's just the person's passion.. In which case, maybe find a place that will pay better for custodial services. But settling for a low-skill job is completely up to the person who takes it. And that's where people disagree with me. Which is okay. But my personal opinion of this is that custodial jobs should be temporary jobs, like working at a fast food restaurant. I think the point he's making here is that hard work leads to success. And if you work hard as a janitor? Great! A good work ethic is one of the most rare things to find in our society right now. But personal responsibility and work ethic aren't things that are understood or taught in a proficient manner nowadays. Just my opinion.

Prieš 11 dienų

@Patrick T what attitude exactly will fill a janitor's bank account? Sweeping extra hard, and making sure the trash cans are always empty? Lmao

Joe's show is basically has become him inviting guests in to listen to him talk. Everytime this guest built a foundation for his point... Joe interrupts, hijacks the conversation, eventually the subject changes and I'm left wondering what his guest's point was going to be. I'm so interested in what this guy has to say but the moment Joe recognizes he has a viewpoint on something that is about to be said it becomes "ME..ME...ME... MY TURN...ME ME ME ME". I stopped listening at the 40 minute mark. Joe needs to work on his listening skills.

It is a little disingenuous to say the Settlers/Europeans 'didn't know' how to fight on horseback. They were just adapted to or possessed a different battle advantage, and were just especially weak against the strength of the indigenous peoples in small-sized mounted encounters. They had strengths and just stuck to them. Technology, whether manifested as metallurgic technologies, armor, advanced formations, and advanced logistics, as a battle advantage (vs individual martial skill/proficiency per se) worked against tribal warfare styles all over Europe and Asia throughout history eventually as technology advanced and evolved. The West was no different.

Fascinating about the weight loss protocol. A huge caveat and caution, learned personally: the body holds an enormous environmental and food toxin load. There are adjunct therapies which help/are needed because the human body isn't built to handle and release all of it, particularly at that fast a rate. Organs are stressed and the person can become horribly ill. "Herxheimer reaction" to start. They rarely tell you that.

I just really got into youtube a couple years ago, I remember watching videos of Andy Ruiz Jr eating. People cooking massive unhealthy foods with lots of cheese and meats and I remember thinking how in the heck is this guy beating up Anthony Joshua, so I looking into boxing and I guess the one luck punch is all one really needs until that doesn't work next time. But I watched a couple videos of Ruiz Jr just living and it's my opinion that there was not much cocaine using happening there. A lot of eating and drinking and socializing.

I may not agree with Mr J Rogan on a few to a lot of things. But I do think that he is genuinely his self and he does find things that he clicks on with every guess that he has. And I genuinely enjoy his conversations especially with gentlemen like this that are are doing their part to help out with others that are needing it. And I like seeing and enjoy people who are genuinely passionate about certain areas in their lives such as MMA and taekwondo jujitsu Music politics faith professional sports I guess even though I do think some of them are cry babies and some of them are legit like Tyson and others. That's just the individual person though in my opinion it's not a group. It's all about having self control self-responsibility self-reflection self individuality having self-teaching through research research research period and getting rid of self-doubt self-centeredness and self-loathing. And I do think that he has people come at him on all sides and when that happens sometimes that just means you're doing something that is part of your job and you're giving an opinion that people don't agree with which is your own opinion. Which of the part is what success is if you have nobody upset with you because of something you believe in then nobody's paying attention or watching you. see I am a Christian conservative and there's a lot that I don't agree with him on but there's a lot that I do agree with. And him being self-independent it's one thing I totally agree on. Even though he had a chance and an opportunity that he took to the likes of fear factor and UFC Joe took that initiative he ran with it and was good at it and still is. Because of hard work no privilege know nothing else. You've got to work hard we've got to work hard. And focus on one thing if we have to we may not always be the most politically correct clean soft-spoken most productive. But I believe we find something good which I believe if it's meant for us God will grant us it and if we stick with it through free will period then we can make a difference not only in our own lives but others. Just like this man did with the guy that was severely overweight. He invited him into his own property and gave him a chance and that's the human Spirit right there. If you challenge them or us we either sink or we swim and it's amazing that people are willing to get outside of their own comfort zone to change their health. And I believe more people need to do that for their life to be longer and happier. Because you're not happy at that size and you're not happy with your life. When you're unhealthy. I just pray for everybody that's going through all these things whether it's a stupid virus the protests that are going on the violence that people are experiencing on all sides. I just pray we find common ground period because in my opinion I believe in so many others that that's the most important thing for us as humans I still live life find common ground and live a long life of peace God's got this.
