The reason this guy wants no regulation is so the rich can just keep all the money for themselves because they will have the power to do what ever they want. The poor won't be able to fight back or compete with the rich. The problems we are facing today have become more and more prevalent as the rich have been tearing down all the regulations. We have the largest wealth gap the world has ever known and that is because the rich have bought our politicians and bribed them to slowly change our regulations to the point that they don't even exist anymore. Now they are creating regulations that prevent the people from fighting them so they can stay in power so since this has been shown to be not working for the people, Peter Schiff needs to shut the fuck up because we are witnessing what he is pushing right now and its failed. He wants even less regulation which is absurd to think that even more of his plan would help the people in any way. Unregulated Capitalism is not the solution for the people. It's the solution for the rich to get richer and prevent others from competing with them so they can stay in power. All you need to do is open your eyes and you can see how wrong this guy is because what he is pushing, we are living it today, and it didn't work. This guy contradicts himself constantly and shouldnt be allowed to just talk this madness anymore. He is just wrong. WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG

This guy is full of shit. He says that if the rich had more money, they would give more to charity. That's been proven false for the past 60 years, the rich have been hoarding all their money and hiding it offshore. Charitable organizations don't give money to the people who need it. They just use it to enrichen themselves. Capitalism has created the largest wealth gap this world has ever known. This guy is trying to push the Reagan Trickle Down Theory that has been proven to be nonexistent. The people who make this claim are trying to keep pushing this Trickle-down theory in hopes that people will keep buying it so they can keep getting richer. What's keeping Amazon from paying its employees a living wage. Does Jeff Bezos need to have 150trillion dollars while his employees work for pennies and Bezos reaps all the profit? This is bullshit, and this guy Schiff is a hack and should be hung by his nuts in the center of his city where people can take turns throwing rocks and batteries at him for 5 cents a throw. Now that would be a great way to show just how great capitalism works to this guy. You think he would change his views then. It would be offering a service that the people really need right now. What better way to let the people get rid of the frustration that they feel with the rich. I would be there everyday spending my money on as many throws that I can afford getting out all my frustrations and making every throw count. I can't even believe this guy has the balls to still be pushing this agenda. It's exactly what has created the problem in the first place. he says we can't blame the private sector for the government's failure which is also bullshit because the private sector has been the ones who have created all the corruption in our government. It's the private sector that has been paying off the government to take away the people's protection from the rich. What we need is a cap on what people are allowed to own. The reason we have all these problems is because there is a small group of people that want to own and control everything. There is nothing preventing these people from distributing their wealth right now and they are not doing it. All they are doing is telling people that it's their money and it would be wrong for people to take it from them. The people are tired of waiting for their money to trickle down while the rich are still pushing to take even more. This guy wants you to believe that everyone can be rich in a capitalist society which is bullshit. Capitalism creates a few winners leaving the rest poor. That has been proven time and time again. We need to cap what people are allowed to own. Once you have made a million dollars you shouldn't be allowed to earn any more. That would solve the problem. Then you can just retire and not worry about making more money and hoarding it for yourself. Problem solved. This guy just doesn't understand late-stage capitalism and how it affects the people negatively and that the rich only want to keep getting richer at the expense of their employees which we are witnessing right now and have witnessed for centuries. Capitalism can work but only when it's heavily regulated which this guy claims can only work when there is no regulation. The wealth gap started to increase when we stopped regulating these corporations so I don't know what the fuck this guy is talking about because it's painfully obvious that he is wrong wrong wrong. Unregulated capitalism doesn't have any solutions for the people who don't become successful and are broke other than hope that someone will be kind and help them which the rich have proven that they don't want to help because they rather hoard their money than donate it. Not everyone can be a winner in Capitalism because there has to be workers. Bezos wouldn't have 150trillion dollars if he didn't have employees that did the work. The problem is that people like Bezos doesn't value his employees as he should. He believes that he earned all that money by himself. He didn't, he just took advantage of the people because they needed jobs so he pays them slave labor so that he can earn more money than he doesn't even need while the employees are only asking to be paid fairly for what this corporation is taking in profit. It all goes to Bezos and should be distributed evenly amongst all employees. This guy Schiff is just a selfish greedy bastard that would be singing a different tune if he wasn't one of the winners.

Hey Peter, first of all , I respect the hell out of you. But back In 2013, I went all in and sold my house, and spent 30,000 on gold and silver, convinced by u that the economy was on the verge of collapse.. Of course I lost my ass... I know it was a gamble, and that was a risk I was willing to take, but I believed in you... I ended up being homeless up until three years ago, so stop it with the predictions please, cuz my life turned around when Trump came into office.

This dude is suspect, some valid points and truth, some bullshit and misinformation. I know the answer to the problem and I'm quite sure he does as well. The solution is to abolish the ponzi scheme referred to as the federal reserve. A privately held and internationally owned banking cartel that usurped our governments authority over the control and creation of currency in 1913. The reason he fails to be clear and concise about it might stem from the shared ethnic background he has with the owners. Anyhow, he tries to fault Trump for all of the other financial problems that result due to this system. The President is doing what he can to keep us afloat in spite of resistance and financial sabotage. Trump is aware of the real solution, and I'm sure he's aware the last president who attempted to solve it via executive order was assassinated in Dallas.

My and I would hope most people's economics degrees, including Peter's, was mostly math. It showed taxes created dead weight loss, but that ideal free markets can create problems. The ONLY thing that keeps employers from being SHIT to their employees is the employee's ability to LEAVE or to FIND other work effectively. NOT minimum wage. NOT a soul sucking union with monopoly. Financial security and mobility and that's IT. We've completely decimated that with making debt step one for every aspect of progression. EXCEPT for trade jobs!! Imagine that! They will pay you to learn, the credentialing is efficient, college is a bloated, networking schtick where EVERY class is involved in self-justifying it's own relevance and importance. People are so bad at being objective with others that only dynamic feedback can maintain a healthy give and take relationship. There is almost nothing I learned in my college experience that truly translated to work experience other than generalized realities and life perspectives that should have already been passed on via elementary school. Its gross how much route and useless info and how many performative tasks are required in your typical college education and it costs a fortune and it delivers a weak result. I love science, I love real education, I love learning and I hate university lol. It's amazing how quickly group performative delusion sets in.

@Nielen Emhof these problems stemmed from govt since the Great Depression, World war's I and II, the Federal Reserve, FDR's New Deal and the passage of Social Security and then the gold standard already phased out and the opening of relations w China that led to jobs slowly going overseas during the Nixon administration and debt and inflation went way up then fast forward to 20 years (2000-2020) of trillion dollars being printed just to cover the wars and govt programs that arent even amended in the US Constitution.

I think broad wage hikes and "industry standards" have dislocated and disassociated compensation from productivity. Add a globalized workforce with geographical chicanery and you have the bottom falling out from the lower class in developed nations. The buck has been passed for a long time due to insanely cheap products from china allowing the system to persist but that dynamic is souring and things are really coming into leverage and need to change.

Prieš 6 dienų
Nielen Emhof
Nielen Emhof

Also, you are NOT paid for your productivity. You are paid for your replaceability. Owners pay as little as they can get away with, without it hurting their net cashflow. If I'm 3x as productive as my coworkers, I make no where near 3x as much as my coworkers and I think I never will. Work culture doesn't reinforce this, work culture is team sports culture. You are there to be a cog and your excellence beyond other cogs is only marginally beneficial because what is most valuable to the employer is their ability to hit larger markets and to be in control of their workforce when they do. Employers don't believe in 1-1 translations of productivity and pay and employees don't comprehensively demand it (I think broadly because we have poorly conceptualized the idea of leveraging one's own worth and because we are more financially vulnerable than ever before due to debt and paycheck dependency), instead it's contorted and disjointed tribal mimicry of being on a "team" and working towards a "vision for the future" that the employer will rake all the profits from and claim a pat on the back and continued employment as recompense for the outsized success.

However, President Trump has been badgered almost to death, and nonstop by the mainstream media and the Democrats. I'm amazed he has accomplished all he has, as shown on the The White House website. The Democrats have never attempted to work with President Trump, even for the good of the people and the country. The Democrats and MSM have made that all but impossible. At the moment (October 2020), Nancy Pelosi is not approving the second stimulus check because she is not getting the demands she's added to the bill -- yet she maintains that whatever she does is "for the good of the American people". If she really cared about the people, she would approve the second stimulus and propose her demands in another, separate bill.

Im trying to understand his point of view regarding minimum wage. Almost half of americans earn less than 30K a year. Its not teenagers that make up most people earning minimum or need minimum wage. I do respect him telling the TRUTH that so many corporations should go through packaged bankruptcy instead of just giving them printed money. Cause of stupid stock prices.

And hes right. Taxing the rich basically will pass that to middle class and the poor in a form of higher prices, but if govt gets out of the way by repealing minimum wage law which isnt even amended in the constitution, then working class people will eventually have more money and increased buying power.

BY THE WAY, Skype does this thing where sometimes when one person speaks (or through out the call) it will sidechain (lower the volume) of the other person speaking and in Peter's case, a lot of the time, he can't hear what Joe says because Skype lowers Joe's volume while he speaks. This isn't an option you can control through Skype, sometimes the host has that feature sometimes the guest, it's not so clear but in my meetings when someone moves around and the mic pics that up, I can't hear my colleagues anymore because someone's shirt is more important for example to Skype. This is the dumbest feature to add to a call without letting you control it.

Sorry about your friend that was young and was super sick with COVID-19. Despite whatever you mat think he or she was NOT healthy. Maybe no one is "healthy". 87% of all Americans have some type of metabolic disorder causing susceptibility to this gain of function virus intentionally released. Why was it released? Maybe to kill millions and it failed. Maybe for government dominance and control worldwide. Perhaps to make billionaires even more billions? The real question is why was the virus designed in the first place. Do not live in fear. Holistic medicine modalities can turn around the disease in most persons. Why not take this time for more Americans to get healthy and reverse their 10 comorbidities. Which is what they actually die from.

Huge change in the tone for Joe Rogen from his 1st interview with Peter a few years back. Sounds like Joe may have absorbed some of the Sanders socialist rubbish. Just listen to the other interviews with Peter

I want to believe Peter to be totally correct but I have a couple of problems: 1) why does his firm Eurocap get such terrible reviews online? 2) surely the government does have many ways to make money aside from taxation? 3) what does trump know that he doesn’t? Or is it that trump is wrong and he is totally right. I’m just not sure that all this adds up.
