What Ben and others like him Never addressed: Its not just money ( which he continues to downplay- just go to better schools, just have fathers, just, just just) he totally continues to Disregard the Experience of minorities ( and those disenfranchised) no one wants to be " him" its about Agency Access, to wake up and not have to think about: Being followed, being ridiculed, being called names , red lined, not getting the job, because the person making the decision has chosen someone that looks like them. Many white ppl are never interested in becoming " uncomfortable " in our house, environment, share our friends, family, culture. They want you to somehow be ashamed of who you are. I came from a fairly comfortable middle class family. Educated parents, we owned a large home + 6 apartments on 2acres growing up. All siblings when to college all except 2 owned there own business and have had long successful careers/families. All of these achievements still never kept up from being called names, followed in stores, overlooked for positions and , stopped by authorities. So yes Racism is Alive and well in America. Just look at the lengths America has gone through to keep ppl from votingand mind u this is all recenthistory!( especially black males) separated from there families ( how many times have you been stopped by thep olice or told You don't belong here?) or ppl asking if u are the " help" I've seen it all, and it get Freaking Old!! Acting like it doesn't exist anymore gets old!

As a Black man, I Voted Trump in 2016 because I respected his political Stand points, I don’t believe in abortion, I do believe in my country, I Don’t want another 50 years of my people enslaved to welfare, when they are perfectly healthy. And I wasn’t gonna vote for another innocent child’s life to be KILLED ever again. 63 million aborted children. I voted for what person represented me best. Go ahead and vote Biden but do know what you are voting for. I trust that most Americans will make the right choice.

I’m from the hood, I know a lot of guys that left the gang shit and drug shit in the past and are now business owners or people who are in high positions. I know guys who stood in it never left the town and are still thugs. It has nothing to do about your family history it’s all about where you want to go in life and how you choose to approach it. Joe, as per usual, is completely off on his analysis.

you know every time i hear someone speak on areas that suffer from poverty and financial disadvantages, its always someone who has never lacked or wanted for anything a day in their life. now I myself have never grown up in poverty and I've been rather blessed, (not saying that those less fortunate aren't blessed) but I my self have the common sense to see that peoples behaviors are learned. It's not just something that you can easily distinguish and knowing between right and wrong, especially if you've been seeing other people walking about their daily lives and dealing with drugs or gun violence. Your natural human instinct is to survive and when those kids pick up those guns, they do it because their afraid to be gunned down. they don't go out looking for trouble, its like they have to walk around life as if they are jason bourne.

36:42 Okay, how would those people gotten out? According to Joe Rogan those people would’ve had to see someone get out. Which then begs the question, how did those people get out, which leads to the question why they got out. Ben is suggesting those people make it out by being a person using their own ability to reason and take charge of their own lives. Nor do you actually have to see a person do good for you to recognize what good is, you can arrive at that through your own reason. The problem with people that are violently aggressive is that they are often impaired mentally.

Prieš 3 dienas
Richer than Richie
Richer than Richie

34:18 Joe Rogan accuses Ben of walking into a situation with a rigid set of rules, that is not fair, and shouldn’t be a topic of conversation, what he should addressing the individual points being made by Ben, or that the very least, doing his best treat his conversation partner who he let on to his podcast, like an honest well intentioned person. I don’t particularly side with these individuals on anything, but I’ve noticed this a lot with Joe Rogan to the point where I can’t help, but wonder why he keeps doing the same thing over and over again.

Prieš 3 dienas
Richer than Richie
Richer than Richie

I don’t want to search for the exact start for this particular conversation topic, but I see it every where (here it is 29:21, if someone can give me the exact start that would be nice). It’s also a common theme in much of Joe Rogans conversations which may or may not be a direct reflection of his character, but let’s say he’s caught up in this just like how everyone can justify themselves as being. What he’s doing here in this is common abuse tactic known as justification, which is often the intentional act of shifting the conversation into the reasons why they do certain things and their intention going into it. Which I think most people can recognize as being something that can essentially go on forever. What Ben Shapiro is trying to do, rather unsuccessfully is talk about what people can do can do to own up their mistakes or decisions. I think this is in part due to the climate that we are in and perhaps Joe Rogan himself trying to keep his image up, which may or may not be good or bad reasons. I think part of the reason why conversations end up going this way is due the nature of what we are discussing which is in all honesty abstract. Even the people potentially suffering the consequences of having ancestors enslaved can recognize this as being such simply because they themselves weren’t enslaved. We can recognize it as bad, we can IMAGINE what it was like, and perhaps we’ve heard direct stories of it. The difficulty is also the people are who are now, or where growing up in impoverished neighborhoods speaking up. Not everyone of them are honest, but it must be difficult for the ones who are because they are the ones suffering the violence, and people who suffer violence can often die by the perpetrators hands. Leading them into a position of fear. This is where the left comes in because, in an honest attempt, would be speaking on their behalf, which leads to the discussion now, where we are confused on what to do and on what is happening.

If someone catches a rare disease or a plane has a double engine bird strike and goes down then it is a statistically rare act a nature. If a single cop unjustifiably kills someone, regardless of how statistically unlikely, it is outrageous. Cops have been given immense power and cannot afford to make mistakes. A person shooting another person is a choice and not some statistically unlikely event that you can write off. I mostly agree with Ben but his defense of police by saying "look at the numbers cause MOST cops don't kill people" was a super weak argument.

Once again, Ben lying. The overwhelming majority of these protests were peaceful. When you’re talking about a collective you can’t take a small portion of that groups behavior and use it to paint everyone that way. Also, a lot of those protests were escalated by provocateur agents and police attacking them first when there was no violence and police being the ones to snatch a window or slash tires then claim it was protesters so they can use violence and the police doing this is all documented on camera and even by former officers.

Prieš 5 dienų
Night Raven
Night Raven

No literally a vast majority of the protest had some sort of violence in them, They may not have turned into full scale riots, but the amount of protest that had literally ZERO violence in then is astonishingly low. And you have very little evidence in the provocateurs department, and cops are generally doing their job when protestors entire into restricted areas, you aren't allowed to protest just literally anywhere you want.

Ben Short-piro is completely disingenuous and Joe Rogan is an uniformed moron. Defund The Police does NOT mean completely getting rid of the police! It means cutting some of their funding that’s typically upwards of 40% of most cities entire budget and reallocating to social programs to help with education, poverty, healthcare and programs that will help stop poverty which is proven to directly lead to crime and stopping that will prevent a lot of crime from ever even happening! It also means holding police accountable for their actions and consequences when they are corrupt, break the law and abuse people! Anyone who doesn’t grasp that simple fact or support it needs help.

Prieš 5 dienų
Night Raven
Night Raven

Then you very obviously are a liar or have no idea what you are talking about because there is a stupid large amount of people suggesting the complete abolition of police in general and calling all cops racist and pigs. If you really wanted to hold cops accountable dissolve police unions and give them MORE funding. Everyone already knows poverty causes crime but simply throwing money at impoverished areas doesn't solve the problem... can you be any more ignorant ?
